Founded in 2003, Lightweight Medical (LWM) established new markets and disrupted old ones through a long-term strategic approach. LWM specialised in the development, certification, logistics and support of mass-market products and user experiences atop complex end-to-end product service systems involving hardware, software and data analysis.
Element Zero Six was LWM’s consultancy arm delivering original product and service development.
Up to 2008 LWM attracted over $800k in revenues per annum, $800k in technology grants, $200k angel investment and 12 topflight staff. Delivering over 20 commercialized projects to 10 key partners and clients. Winning many business and design awards, including Design Week, iF and Red Dot.
Onzo has hundreds of thousands of users, attracted over $5m in technology grants, $5m VC investment, over 70 topflight staff and a tier-1 manufacturer, Jabil Circuit Inc. Onzo’s first order for SSE Plc in 2008 was for over $10m. Onzo now has clients in EMEA, APAC and North America.
